Tavern outgoing Gmail

Tavern outgoing Gmail is the owner-operated email integration for the Tavern website. It sends alpha invitations, application updates, contact messages and acknowledgments through tavernhosting@gmail.com.

Who connects a Google account?

Only the Tavern operator connects the sending account. Visitors and alpha testers do not need to connect Gmail or grant access to their mailboxes to receive a message.

What access does it use?

The integration requests permission to send email. It does not request permission to read, search or delete mailbox messages. Google authorization can be revoked by the account owner.

If a message does not arrive

Check spam and keep your existing invitation or submission receipt. Contact hello@thetavern.dev for help before submitting the same request again. The operator can check Sent mail and send the existing invitation manually.
